How to: Studded barrettes

Yay, another tutorial involving studs! :)
I've found my inspiration here on Pinterest:

...and decided to give it a try, in a slightly different way.

Get some barrettes.

If your studs have 4 clasps/prongs, remove two opposite lying ones.

If your studs are rather large like mine, prepare felt squares and hot glue them into the studs for a better basis.

Start hot glueing the studs on your barrette.

...keep going...

Done!

Don't forget to bend the clasps/prongs so that nothing will hurt you when you wear the barrette.

Wear!

How to: Golden Stud Bracelet

Last week my golden pyramid studs arrived :) And I instantly had to make something of them! I used black elastic, cut it the size of my wrist, sewed it together and put the studs on it. Easy as that!

I'm nearly done with every option in using studs, and after making plastic bottle bangles I tried to combine them with my love towards studs. And it's - as mostly - very hard :D

1. Make a bangle from a plastic bottle

That was a great deal of work, wasn't it? I'm so sorry...

How to: Stud bracelet

How-To:

Attach the studs with jump rings, bending the clasps in. 

Make sure it holds together tightly, otherwise the bracelet will break apart.

I used hotglue to ensure it.

Add the closure. I used a hook closure.

How to: Stud earrings

This was one of the last things I guess I could do with my remaining studs.

You will need: thick felt, studs, earring bases, a hot glue gun.
Go with these simple steps:

Cut out squares from felt in the size of your studs

Glue them 'into' the stud to create a base to glue the earring base on and bend the clasps in.

Done!

Here we go. Stuff that's lying around here for some time now: Chained rings with studs, linked with chains and rings with 'old' buttons (they're actually pretty new but the style is more vintage).
