First cameo pendants! :)

Finally I could make my wish true of having those specific cameos I always wanted <3

Recently I updated you on the amount of cameo material I bought. And now...

...I can say I'm almost done with all of it! There are some missing chains for necklaces still, but I wanted to show you what I had accomplished already ;)

1,30 € at the copy shop. That's what I like about DIY: Such small amounts of money spent can make you feel so excited!

How to: Bow Cuff & Anklet

I'm obsessed with bows. If you haven't noticed by now.

They're pretty easy to make:

Elastic band -> your size! -> Sew together -> Add bow

You can also add sth else to the band, for example, a flower:

How to make your own pendants!

I got stuck with making my own cameo resembling necklace pendants :) I've had them lying around for a while because I'm a perfectionist sometimes and I felt they weren't perfect. Now I've found my inner peace with them, deciding I did my best and gonna buy settings and cabochons in the future to make real perfect ones. Of course I'm gonna share them ;)
Simple procedure: I used a piece of plastic to protect the picture after glueing it onto (baked) fimo. It's embraced by a lace 'frame' and on the top is a ring to attach to the string.
You'll get addicted once you tried that. I love customized jewellery!

How to: Pin Up Hair Bow

So, I spend my one single cabochon on that other pin up picture (posted as Cabochon picture ring, check it out) and wondered if stable plastic would work too. And it did :)

Cut out a picture & a piece of stable plastic (mine was the base for butterfly stickers :P) in the same shape.
Put glue on the top of the pic & stick the plastic above.

Now you only need to make the bow and glue that girl on it :)

How to: Cabochon picture ring

This is way too easy. The biggest efford was to buy those cabochons. You'll find them online.

Here 's how to do it:

1. Cut out your picture in the shape of the cabochon, I used a pin up girl.

2. Put some transparent glue on the top of the pic

3. Glue on the cabochon and attach it to a ring base.

I wanna make moooore! Sadly I can't spend much money atm :/
