How to: Golden Spike Earring Studs

You'll need screw-on studs (I found mine very cheap on eBay), blank earring studs (in the best case golden coloured, too) and a hot glue gun or jewellery glue like Hasulith.

Take front pieces (the basic spikes without the screw-part) and hot glue it on each earring stud.

Then try them on and admire your utterly work-intensive creation ;)

The spikes were from ebay, you can get them very very cheap from China. Just search for them, you'll see it's easy if you have paypal, and they have all kinds of differents studs and spikes! :)

How to:

- Gather your materials. Arrange the spikes like you want them. This picture is actually from my bracelet tutorial, so they're lying differently than in the actual necklace.

- Attach them to the chain with jump rings.

- Attach the clasp

And you're done!

The studs are from ebay. I expected them to be way bigger and wondered what to do with them - et voila: I made a ring!

How to:

Cut the clasps off. (If there are some)

Fill the spaces with hot glue.

Glue the studs on the ring. :)

How to:

Start with the chain. Check which length is best for your wrist.

Add the closure. Because I don't have 'real' closures at the moment, I use corsage closures.

Start with the small spikes. I've had three rings space between each one.

Now it should look like this (that was the moment I decided I needed more spikes ;) )

Add bigger spikes between the small ones.

Done! :)

Take a fabric string (or leather, but t-shirt fabric is more elastic) and knot them on each end of the chain. And you're done!
