I love it, I bought a cheap frame for 3 € and removed every paper + the back, so only the frame was left and glued a matching piece of bridal veil fabric on the frame (hot glue gun), on the backside of course so it will look clean on the front. Then I put a blank sheet of paper and the cardboard (or wooden) back on the back and bent the clasps in. Put earrings on - done! And it looks so nice and organised <3
In my opinion there's a essential item of clothing every closet needs: ripped jeans. They're fantastic, casual, always cool and not only a sign that you aren't the strict conservative type - they're part of fashion. They just feel good. They're a statement. Here's a how to on making them really scruffy - the way I like mine ;)
Cut rips and remove the white thread. Doing this, you will create that really scruffy look.
Leave some of the white threads and it will look like this.
I've made some discoveries of craft websites recently (LOADS) and I still find myself in conditions of sensory overload. Anyway, I wanted to show you some of the stuff I made in the last weeks:

Because the wrapping thing was so easy, I tried it with wool. I used three different kinds, all multicolored. Creates a nice effect I think.
Took me a while, I think 30-60 minutes each. The base is from a leather belt, see tutorial here. :)

Not that I don't have the inspirations, I have tons of it, and tons of ideas, but I don't have the motivation. The only stuff I got to create in the past days I will show you now :)
Those skull beads are too cool! Bought them in Canterbury, UK. I always wanted to wear them where everyone can see them, so I decided to make a bracelet.
The necklace was planned for a long time as I wanted to try to make that fabric-wrap-pearl stuff. Gonna post a tutorial soon.
I also made a zebra-fur statement ring but I forgot it at Grandma's. I'm not making that up, it's true :D
Oh, and I made sea shell earstuds.
The shells were silver buttons once, I found them in Mama's button collection. And varnished them with blue and turquoise nail polish :)

I'm having semester break right now and also my tiny job at the school is pausing because of vacation, so I pretty much lay around the whole day, work out, collect blog links and ideas, watching the weather switch every day (summer in Germany this year means: rain/boiling heat/surprising cold) and, as a new point I just LOVE to add, this:

I just had to try it because it seemed so easy, but here's the thing:

I found the original one quite inconvenient, maybe it was the shirt but it had so many unflattering wrinkles :(

There's no easier way to get yourself a tight slutty mini skirt! And it's super comfy.
