I just had to try it because it seemed so easy, but here's the thing:
You'll get wrinkles everywhere.
I found the original one quite inconvenient, maybe it was the shirt but it had so many unflattering wrinkles :(
I tried it another way:
Just knotted it on the back ;) A garment I'm absolutely gonna wear this summer!
